Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Siyan Stride you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What Siyan Stride is
Siyan Stride is a walking-wellness app published by Siyan Clinical Corporation. It shows your steps, lets you set walking goals, follow plans and journeys, and walk together with small groups and the people in your Care Circle. It is not a medical device. The information in the app is not medical advice and you should consult a qualified clinician before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have a heart condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from an injury or illness.
Your account
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information at sign-up and to keep it current. You must be at least 13 to use Siyan Stride.
Subscriptions
Some features are available only to subscribers (Premium, Premium Plus and Caregiver). Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Prices are shown in your local currency before you buy. Billing is handled by the store you subscribed through:
- iPhone (Apple App Store): Apple manages all billing. Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Purchases are also governed by Apple’s standard Terms of Use (EULA).
- Android (Google Play): Google Play manages all billing. Manage or cancel your subscription in the Play Store › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Purchases are also governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it with Apple or Google as well.
Groups, Care Circle and chat
You choose what to share and with whom. Only share content you have the right to share, and respect the people you walk with.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable, or impersonate anyone. You can report a message or a member and block a member at any time from the chat. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content, and suspend or remove accounts, that break these terms.
Challenges
Challenge routes with rewards, such as Walk Kilimanjaro, are governed by their own Official Rules, which are shown in the app before you join and published on our website. Apple and Google are not sponsors of, and are not involved in, any challenge.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to harass others, to upload content you do not have rights to, to attempt to reverse engineer the service, or to circumvent any security feature.
Disclaimer of medical advice
Siyan Stride is provided for general wellness purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or saw in the app.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Siyan Clinical Corporation is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from Profile › Request account deletion (see how to delete your account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page and the “Last updated” date if we make material changes.
